Star Thrower Farm’s rich and fertile soil produces a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. The bounty is shared with a small number of CSA members. 2022 share signup is currently open.
About Our CSA
We start most of our crops in our greenhouse so they are seedlings when planted giving them the best chance for success all season long. We plant a wide variety of crops and succession plant for season extension so we have bountiful harvests every week.
The CSA runs for 16 weeks, from mid-June to mid-October and includes a weekly newsletter with information on the week’s share. Tips on recipe prep and food storage are also included as well as a glimpse on farm happenings.
CSA Details
- $500 full share for 3-4 people
- $300 half share for 1-2 people
Convenient pickup locations at the farm, in the western suburbs and downtown Minneapolis. Specific days, times and locations coming soon.
